2016-08-28 Blackheath sing for refugees

This is open to anyone who would like to join in. The Sydney Trade Union Choir already knows one of the songs, and singers from other choirs are welcome to be part of this event.

Meet at the Presbyterian Church at 10:30am on Sunday 28 August to learn and/or practice two songs, then take them to the streets.

This is in solidarity with demonstrations around the country for refugees.

Song list

  • Advance Australia “Fair” (refugee version)
  • “Refuge to a Refugee” by singer/songwriter Bernard Carney from WA
