Words & Music: Traditional South African
From the apartheid years in South Africa. We learned the song in September 1993 as part of a group of several choirs from Brisbane, Newcastle and Sydney led by ANC cultural director, Siphiwo Lubambo.
Lyrics:
Soyilwela, siyilwele ikhululek’ iAfrica!
Translation:
We struggle. We will keep struggling until Africa is free!
