Doug is a former active member of the choir. His mother had requested a couple of our songs at her funeral. They were:

- Nkosi Sikelele
The service was held at the Greenway Chapel, 460 Avoca Drive, Green Point at 10am on Tuesday the 28th of November 2017.
Singers from other choirs joined us, the Peoples Chorus from Newcastle and the Sydney Trade Union Choir. Deb Jones conducted.
